i was thinking about 235/35/19 & 265/35/19, which looks pretty good. unfortunately my budget is controlling what size tire i get for now and probably will switch out in 6 months or so. so im probably going to have to go with kumhos, which ive had before and arent to bad. problem is kumhos dont come in 265/35. closest they have is 255/40 which is actually a better fit when using the tire calculator. do you think this profile will still look as good as the 265/35 compared to the 255/40????? thanks fellas!

If you are going to stretch tires may as well buy throwaways like Kumhos.

i appologize......19x9.5+17 & 19x10.5+24 and ill have to use whatever spacers necessary to get them out where i need them. thanks guys!

also, qustion: how does the ride comfort suffer with stretched tires?

 

235 on a 9.5? most guys on here go 245 on 8.5.
and we have guys here with wider tires than 265 on a 9.5 wheel so the 255 on the 10.5 is quite stretched yeah.

 

so you want to fit 255 on 10.5 width wheel?

And then run spacers to make them look flusher/wider to get that "VIP" look or whatever

 

i run the same wheel setup as u, i have 255 front and 275 rear, when i roll fenders i will go 265 and 285. i have kdw2's and they ride good and handle awesome.

 

sorry that most of you have no idea what a good stretched setup looks like but you can just turn your heads 235 & 265 will fit FINE on a 9.5 & 10.5" wheel respectively. I guess none of you have ever seen any of those threads. Alothough I have seen where lots of you do make it blatantly obvious that you think it against the laws of physics, you can just move along =) Some have even put a 245 on a 10.5" wheel but thats a bit far.

Its NOT slammed on my nuts [I]yet[I], just the hotchkis drop but Ive already planned on swapping the springs.

I don't mean to hijack your thread but would a 275 tire on a 10'' rim be stretched?

 

i doubt it. 275 on a 10.5 is slightly stretched not much at all.

 

How about 265 on a 10'' rim?

 

yes you would notice the stretch and especially with 30 series sidewall.

Its one thing to do it to fit wide/low offset wheels under the stock fenders and its totally another to take a wheel that already fits and can hold a much larger tire and install spacers. You don't gain width, lip, concavity, nothing. All you get is a more ridiculous look for no other reason than that. Lame.

 

265/10 is less stretched than 275/10.5

 

Tell me what 10-15 MILLIMETERS is really going to do differently than what spacers do? So what if it isnt an enormous lip by your standards. If spacers bring it out than thell me what the effin problem is. I didnt have the luxury of picking my offsets ooo great all knowing goddess. Sorry oh lame one, ill bow down now
