I have an 07 z with 11,000 miles, 10 months. I recently installed Tanabe GF 210 AND SPC FRONT AND REAR CAMBER KIT, while installing my installer and I noticed that the front tires had uneven, premature wear. Took the car after to a brigestone/firestone and the guy also confirmed that it was not normal. I know that altering of suspension voids any type of warranty what so ever , but clearly it was not the gf210 that caused this. what can I tell the dealer besides all this?

The dealer is not responsible for uneven tire wear. You are.

 

we just went through this last weekend/corrected this weekend...same car,we have 12k/8 months on ours...NISSAN has a issue with front end on the Z...looks like it's been going on since 03/04 to present...your front end needs to be aligned(i know the car is new)but guess what it is NOT nissans FAULT,also it is not NISSANS fault that your 2 front tires ($600.00)are now bad...ask your dealer what (feathered tires means) we had them print us a copy of the alingment for the front end,ALL numbers are in the RED...

 

o0 hai gais, umm i has spun mai tyres aloht and they are teh blad on 1 syde, i can has help, too layzee to serch.

does the dealer keep the alignment they did ( if they even do an alignment), and i can go and ask for it ? What happened w/ your situation did they get you tires, did they make you pay anything ? Thanks

 

EC... 2 new potenza re50a front tires,wheels weights,etc,etc...$300.00 out the door...they called it goodwill (i think it is part of the class action lawsuit) last weekend they charged me 69.00 for alignment...ask for a copy of the alignment we did and got it...front right out,left rear out,right rear out....toe was in the red on all three...example rear left specified range is 0.05/0.12 mine was -0.01...

 

UZI, you still have the stock suspension ? I added springs so I think they wont give me that good of a deal if I tried unless u have aftermarket springs or coilovers... but that would also depend on the dealer... also, whats the class action lawsuit you mentioned ?
