^ That is just a remedial recommendation. Save up 5,500 dollars for some rims lol. I would rather save up for FI.

Made by Rays... $1500 and change + shipping.. I'm pretty sure they still have plenty in stock.. Shipped quickly, just waiting on silver centercaps.

^^^ Whats the name of those? And those Luffs don't look bad at all. I had narrowed it down to the Rota P45R 18'' (even though I'd rather not get 18's), Linea Course Strasse 19'', and Motegi Touge 19''. Hows the quality of those Luffs? I don't wanna get pwned by a pothole.

those are the old Gramlight 57F Pro, now brought into the US as Ro_Ja R2-5. They come in Rays boxes with Rays info just a Ro_ja sticker on the box and spoke. Also, instead of Noble Gold, you get Mercury Silver or Carbon Black. You get the same forged barrel and fastening system as Volks, but the center is cast... giving you about 2 extra lbs per wheel.

They are normally 600-ish a wheel. But, Tirerack has been running a clearance. However, they are out of alot of fitments. I called another place and they pricematched!!! sweet! They arent a vendor here, but they've been mentioned favorably here. Not happy about the centercap mixup, but they are taking care of it. If you want to know where to get them, PM me. (since not a vendor and also not sure if I should be mentioning pricing).

actual z pics with them (I like the silver caps alittle better than these, but still looks great)

BTW what would you guy think the Nismo LMGT4 would be at dealer cost? Reason why I ask is because we have a dealer around here who sells all parts and accessories to chicagoz members at about 10% above dealer cost.

18's are the wheel for you.

Keep in mind 18" also has better availability of tires and can look just as, if not more agressive than 19's. Depends on the wheel.

Look up Rota Torque's. +20 offset is pretty stout, and if you're NA, a symmetrical setup will work just fine. If you ever want to autoX or go to the track you have a 9.5" rim and you can fit a 275 section tire comfortably.

Just some thoughts.

I dont know, but I've seen reputable deals for $1600ish. The LMGT4 was one of my other choices. While I dont regret the R2-5s and they just look fantastic on the road, I do feel the extra weight. If I had seen a good deal when I needed my wheels, I might have gone with Nismos instead. You cant go wrong with Nismos, and they resell quite well.

I don't know how you guys can suggest Axis to anyone. You bash less expensive rims for "quality" when the Axis have the worst quality reccord on the forum.

I suggest that you just save up and get some Volks because later on you will want to upgrade. But if you must really have some decent rims right now at an affordable cost than pick up some Motegi Touges.
I'm running some 18" touges right now and loved em at first, but now I want to upgrade, and will be picking up some TE's in a few months.
As long as you don't get envious about other Z's modded much more than yours the Touge's will get the job done, and Motegi's customer service is second to none.

Yeah the Touge was one of my top choices, thats the rim that made me start looking at aftermarket rims in the first place. I won't have to worry too much about seeing too many other modded Z's because I rarely ever see Z's where I live especially in my part of town I see none. And when I do see a Z it's always pretty much stock like mine or chromed out which is the exact oppisite of what I want. I want racer look for my car instead of flashy which is another reason why I like the Touge since Tanner Foust won Formula Drift with the Touge. I REALLY like the Rota P45R but wished it came in 19''. If I get it 18'' I would have to lower right away. I know the Touge or P45R's would hold me long enough to get FI and Volks
