Default Volk SF Challenge *diff gens?*

hey guys, was there an older generation of the volk sf challenges that had no lip? where the spokes connect directly to the edge of the rim?

Maybe you're thinking of the old Volk Daytona Speed?

as long as you do 25mm spacers, they might look decent.

No they don't look bad..it's just that offsets are too high. but I can see the reason why..offsets on wheels that are sold in Japan are generally very conservative.

conservative? offsets of +45 and +48 will make the rim stick out of the wheel well no? what are the spacers for then?

No with that offset the wheels will be tucked in. Remember, lower the offset number, the further the wheel sticks out. You need spacers to drop the offset to +25 or below to make it look good. Adding 25mm spacer to let's say +45 will make the offset to +20. It's actually subtraction.
