Default An Interesting Issue....

Hello,

So, my brakes were squeaking and so I had them checked. They are 80-90% still intact. So, what else could cause this issue?

Thanks.

Brake help is in the brake forum. We put it there so that new members will have a hard time finding it. So far I think we are doing a stellar job.

Oh and squeaky brakes... One of the Z's special traits.

There's your answer. Stop braking like a girl, and they won't do that. (In all seriousness, women seem to brake lighter, which allows the pads to squeal.)

Nothing special about the Z in this category, you can make any car squeal, and any car not squeal. But yes perf. brake pads have a way of making noise.

you could pull them off and put some brake grease or quiet or whatever you want to call it and it should help just be sure to deglaze the pads when you do.
