In general, sevas wheels are cheap cast wheels compared to many other wheels you have seen on this forum. They will be heavier and weaker than an expensive forged wheel. A couple of the styles look good to me, but you will sacrifice performance. With that being said, they are no worse than the average wheels you would see at a discount tire or any other large chain tire place.

saying they are weaker and heavier than a forged wheel is, while true, really putting them in a bad light. That's like saying you are sacrificing performance by buying a Z instead of a Porsche 911. I mean, yeah, it's true to a point, but it's not like Zs are complete pieces of siht.

OP, Sevas are quality cast wheels. They are indeed heavier than a forged wheel, but they are also much less expensive. They aren't any heavier than a non-Rays OEM wheel. Personally I think Sevas has great looking styles for someone that doesn't want to spend the money for a forged wheel, and a much better choice than Konigs or other middle-tier wheels. The finishes are fantastic, and the styles are very attractive.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not implying The OP should not buy Sevas wheels. He asked about quality and I told him. One could make an argument that any wheel would be quality. Chances are if the OP bought sevas wheels or any cheaper brand he will never have a bent or cracked rim. Obviously cracked wheels happen as a previous poster showed, but not to the majority of people. What makes sevas higher quality than a set of rims that cost $50 a piece? How do you know Sevas wheels are good quality for the price? Can you get a set of 4 Sevas wheels for $200 or less? Maybe sevas wheels cost too much? Just because they are cheaper then rays doesn't make them a good deal. People can tell you why Volk, Work, HRE, SSR, etc.... are higher quality wheels based on the materials used and how they are made. As a result they cost more.

I have had 2 sets of Sevas Wheels. The wheels are great for the price. It really boils down to what you want. I wanted a nice wheel at an affordable price. I would use the wheels only 6-8 months out of the year since I live in NY. Honestly I get a lot of compliments on my wheels/car. However like others have said there are other options out there.

Heres a pic of my car with Sevas.

Everyone has their own tastes. I had Konigs on my IP G35 because I thought they truly looked good on them. Not everyone likes the styles of $5000 rims. I am really picky with what I like and it usually doesn't sit so well with others.

I picked up a set of black S-Stars and love them. I get plenty of compliments and I think they help set the whole tone for my car.
