Default Volk Gt-c a bit shakey

Well I didnt really feel like looking for the topic this should go under and this is off-topic so whatever.

I bought a set of volk gt-c's and put them on today! Tehya re really nice and to eliminate one poissiblity first...they are not bent! Anyways...when I get up to around 90+ and on The car is really shakey. I dont know why cuz it was smooth as silk at 130 with the stock wheels on. ( i know this cuz I went to forged on saturday) Anyways I dont know what it could be. maybee I need a alignment? Or is it jsut this way cuz they wheels are wider than stock?

**EDIT- And the wierd thing is that even though it is shakey The car still goes straight, like no drifting in the lane

Any help would be aprreciated (Terrible spelling FTL)

Thanks guys,

Will

WOW, you're kidding, right? Hahaha

Yeah man, you MUST get them balanced. After this, it will feel smooth as butter (road permitting).

You need to send the wheels to Nissan USA to get the wheels properly balanced for your car. It's a bit annoying, but it only takes 2-4 weeks.

+1 QFT

You should set up an appointment or just stop by your local Nissan dealership and ask them for their premium wheel balance package. That should cut the time down to about 1-2 weeks.

Well, wheels do have to be balanced for the car. It's a sports car, not a mini van.

Get your tires balanced and make sure you are using hub rings. If you don't have hub rings and the wheels weren't torqued correctly they will vibrate exactly how you are describing.

make sure you check you blinker fluid after getting them balanced. This should prevent any unwanted shaking in the future.
