Default Pic Request: Volk 18x11 +25

Just ordered some new wheels from Sharif. Just got rears actually in need of some more traction. I searched high and low and couldnt find any pics. I ordered 18x11 +25 Volk GTC and just want to see what they will actually look like. I have Volk GTC's right now so Ill be running my 19's up front and the 18's in the rear. Any thoughts on that? Would get new fronts too but I just spent so much $$$ on the build.

They will look very similar to your current setup, just obviously an inch smaller in diameter and have a little more lip than before. Honestly it'll look kinda funny with a 'backward' stagger, but hey, I suppose if you need the traction. I know drag radials arent made in 19s, so im assuming this is why you went with 18s??

Yeah going for stickier tires. I shouldnt even be buying these right now. I spent over 18k last month on the Z. Im more curious on what the +25 offset will look like.

it should sit just as flush as a 19x10.5 + 18 Volk GT-S that alot of people run.

Your setup is spaced roughly 4.5-5 inches from the hub, a 10.5+ 18 is also spaced that same amount. You should have a nice lip as well.

Open for suggestions Boog. Offsets and tires are all new to me. I was planning ordering R Compounds but some guys are telling me to get DR's. I want drivability and better traction than Im getting. I dont do too many digs and I know Im going to lose wet traction with these tires.

I have 19x9.5 +24 in rear now. Will I be able to move those to the front? I have the AP BBK up front.

It will be a nice big lip. Andy@performance posted about 1.5-2 years ago this rim. I think it was like a 4.5 - 5" lip.

Since you went 18", you can get a lot of nice tires.

Are your 9.5's face 1 or 2? I would think you could run a BBK with that setup. I have 9.5 front with 22mm and plenty of room for a 6 pot up front.

edit: was jason@performance.

Thanks man. Too bad his pic was deleted. Sounds like it should be an agressive looking wheel.

I would be willing to bet you will have no issues. I had GTC's with 19x9.5 24mm (with face 1) and had plenty of room. I don't know how face 2 would affect that.
