Default Where are my __(insert brand)___ wheels made?

I've seen numerous "What do you feel about X brand or Y brand wheels" threads that are posted.... subsequently followed with bashings by M and N wheel owners.

Since everyone is entitled to their opinions, potential buyers should do their own research and come up with their own educated response. Knowing where a wheel is manufactured, how it is manufactured (i.e. forged, cast, spun cast, etc), and what mfg standards do they meet (i.e. JWL, etc) will greatly reduce anxiety, and its good knowledge.

Obviously not every wheel company has a Z or G specific wheel application, so lets keep this list specific to our rides. Anyone that has information about a company not currently listed, please post what you know, and lets keep this a living thread, to be updated as more wheel companies offer sizes and fitment that will fit the Z/G. Some companies offer different mfg processes for different wheel styles.. so be sure to differentiate it when listing ..

lets try to stick to this format.
Company / Brand (or style) / Location Mfg / Mfg Process / Standards

eg.
Rays Engineering / Volk Racing Forged Monoblocks / Japan / Forged Al / JWL

I Obviously can't fill this out all in one nite. so here's a list of companies i know off the top of my head... Please post your resonses and i'll edit the list accordingly. All this information is either taken from the wheel itself, from the company website, or people-in-the-know.. If you see anything incorrect. just post!

OK! 1-2-3, Goooo Team!

Great idea for a thread, nice!

First thing I thought of was the differences between Racing Hart/Sprint and RH Evolution. Racing Hart/Sprint are made in Japan; RH Evolution are produced in Korea IIRC, but don't include that in your list until you know for sure. Dazz bought the rights/license/whatever from Racing Hart/Sprint Japan to use their name on their own line of wheels; yes Dazz is Racing Hart Japan's US importer, but they do produce their own line of wheels (Brabus Sports for instance, which is also owned by Dazz and has nothing to do with Brabus besides the licensing of the name). If it tickles someone's a-hole to say they have "Racing Harts" when rolling on RH Evos then so be it, but only Racing Hart Japan is yo yo JDMsweet.

You can also add: Advan, DPE, Gram Lights, 5Zigen, MRR, Motegi, MB Motorsports, Ruff, Stern, HP, Racing Hart, RH Evolution, RH Pro, PIAA, Sevas, Moda, Momo, Kazera, Konig, Privat...off the top of my head, that's it for now.

I have this thought that bothers me, why get JWL and VIA if you don't sell anything to japanese market? (as you cannot sell anything there, producing knock-offs of registered/patented japanese designs).

Think about this, anyone could stamp their products with JWL or VIA stamps, anyone Rota doesn't have anything about having those certificates on their site (or have I missed anything?).

Get me a snap of the text from the back of the wheel, basicly the spokes and the mounting face, I may help with that.
