255 KDW's VS. Pilot MXM4

Default 255 KDW's VS. Pilot MXM4

I'm getting 255/45-18W rears and i have a choice between Michelin Pilot MXM4 or BFG G-Force TA KDW. i will be running mostly street and the occasional track. need input thanks.

i just thought about this but will 255's fit on OEM rims?

they will fit the stock rim...bfg kdw's are bangin. no experience with the pilots.

The KDWs are in a whole other league. Just as good ride quality and life, but much better wet and dry traction
If you have 8" rears, 255 is not recommended, but you should be fine. I would recommend going down to a 255/40 rear just from an aesthetics standpoint.

Question

Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 is an All-Season tire. Do you need an all-season tire?
