Default Need help finding auto-x wheels

My criteria:

Lightweight: 12-16 lbs each.
Stock size: 17x7.5 and 17x8
Offset within 6mm of stock (+30 front and +33 rear)

My list includes, LE28N's and Cp035's... which both require about 2-3 months for delivery. Also, SSR Comp's, but I cannot find anywhere that carries the size and offset I need. Can anyone help? I am trying to get these ASAP, as I only have 5 more points events this season.

We can try the 5Zigen fn01rc. but the widths will be a problem. Is the front really that skinny??

you might have to go with mismatched front rear rims.

That is all I can find right now. :'(

I found that SSR makes the Comps in the sizes I need, but I am having trouble finding anyone who can bring them over from Japan for me.

I also emailed CCW (www.ccwheels.com) about their custom wheels.

are you going to tow the Z, or do you have a hitch in mind for the Z and a small wheel trailer? I can't find any manufacturer of a hitch for the Z.

Curious what you paid.

I'm interested in finding some lightweight wheels slightly wider than stock 18s (Touring 6sp), strong but not expensive. I guess for racing they don't have to look killer, so that's not high on the priority list.

2003z: A local hitch place told me "We can find a way to put a hitch on anything." So, I am dropping the car off next week. I am thinking they might be able to run it under the license plate somehow. I am going to pickup a utility trailer from www.harborfreight.com, and build a trailer to haul my wheels and tools.

Buub: 17's retail for just under $500 a wheel, so I would guess 18's will be closer to $550, maybe more depending on width. Remember, these wheels are even lighter than Volks. The 17's I ordered weigh ~13.8 lbs. That's going to save me 10 lbs per corner. 18's weigh something like 15 pounds... and the wheels you have weigh 28lbs each IIRC. Tirerack carries some sizes of the SSR's, but anything they don't stock will have to be imported by someone like Bulletproof.
