Default Discount Tire... RPF1's offset confusion

I know a lot of you with RPF1s are running 18x10.5 rears and 18x9.5 front with offsets of +15.. This is what I originally wanted. I go to discount tire to see how much they can get them for and they start telling me that +15 offset won't fit my car and I should get them in +32-35... My expression was this So can you guys clear this up for me. They also said 9.5 is to wide in front don't a lot of you guys run this setup? THanks for your help.

Dont listen to anything they tell you (discount and tire rack). They have to sell you wheels that the manufactuer approves to fit your car for liability issues. They suck. lol. Youre best bet is to find a sponser on the board selling those wheels and get the 15mm offsets. There are people running lower offsets than that so they will work for sure. Only issue will be in the rear where depending on the width of tire you run, and how low you are you may have to roll the fender. Good luck!!

First off places such as Discount Tire and Tire Rack are not typically that knowledgeable other than factory specs.

9.5 is definitely not too wide for the front. The sizing and offset you want are not conservative by any means but they will fit.

Add Big-O-Tires to that list... they don't know crap!!! Just research here and take them a list of the tire sizes you need and tell them to save the BS. I've had problems with every company listed.

the guys at discount are quoting you factory specs like every one else is saying. I run a set of Volks. 19x9.5 +17 up front and the fitment is real good. the +15 in the front might stick out just a little. the +15 in the rear will be pretty aggressive. I have a 19x10.5 +24 in the rear and it sits right at flush. If you are lowering your car and running a little negative camber than it will look good.

Got my RPF1's in 9.5 and 10.5 in +15 from Discount Tire. The guy said Enkie wont take the wheels back if they don't fit cause it's not the right size. I said it'll work order them and they did. Hell I even got a 295/35 on the rear. Had to roll the fenders but it was well worth it. Also they will price match. Vendor here was selling them for 1150 shipped. that's what I got mine from Discount Tire for....
