Default Other Methods Besides Banding?

hey guys,
I was wondering if any of you were doing something other than the banding for the TPMS on your 2/3 piece wheels. A shop told me that I could I could either make a pvc tube and fill it with 37 psi of air or put all 4 tpms into my spare tire. Any other suggestions?

thanks

Won't work. The sensors are controlled by a centrifugal switch. When the wheel rotates, the switch turns on and it starts transmitting. That keeps the batteries from running down when constantly transmitting.

the solution is here,

probably the #2 stem.

the problem will be that it will be EXTREMELY difficult for your tire shop not to hit a center mounted sensor like that. It can be done. Choose your installer wisely.
