Offset questions

ok i have searched on this site and another site and cant seem to find it... how do you measure offset? I really Like the Volk SF-Winning's and was thinking about getting 18x10..
can anybody help me out?

Is there a reason why you prefer 18" instead of 19" with the SF-Winnings?
If you're gonna track with these, then of course, 18s would be better - but if you're going more for the looks, I think 19s are better.
In addition, I think that there are better rims if you're gonna track... TE37s, RE30s, CE28Ns, Advans RS, etc. - lightweight and one-piece rims.
The forged monoblock ones from Volks are what I would go with if you're gonna track and go with 18s. =)

xdrius- im going more for looks... i dont track my car that often... i didnt know if the 19s would fit with my car being lowerd... do you know how much these rims weigh?
