Default powder coating chrome rims..

Is it possible to powder coat chrome wheels or only alloy? I have an 06 350z and it came with 19" chrome rims which i dont like. I wanna powder coat them black. would this be possible?

I would sell those and get something else before I bothered with simply changing the color.

well, you have two problems with trying to powder coat chrome.

1. you have to strip the chrome because the powder coat won't adhere to the slick chrome surface

2. the cost to strip four wheels and then powder coat them is going to be pretty expensive

+1 on selling those.

+1000 on SF Challenges. You can never go wrong with them...except if they were the wrong size.
