Weight of OEM 06+ Rims
I've noticed that this is often brought up, and the consensus is that OEM 5-spoke rims are heavy pigs. I've heard them weighing anywhere between 25 to 32lbs, but no one could say for sure.
When my Hotchkis were being installed, I weighed my wheels while they were off -- the front wheel came out to 47lbs with tire (Michelin PS1), and the rear came out to 50lbs with tire. The front Michelin PS1 weighs 24lbs (according to TireRack/Michelin, and a previous weighing of mine) - which means the rim weighs 23lbs. The rear tire weighs 26lbs, which means the front rim weighs 24lbs.
So there you have it:
23lbs for front rim
24lbs for rear rim.
