long story short, a bus along side of me got WAY too close and basically ran me into a curb destroying 2 of my rims. see attached pics. the rear one looks repairable. can anyone recommend a good volk repair place? the front one is toast. it is a 2 piece wheel and i was wondering if there is anywhere i could buy just the outside barrel of the wheel instead of the whole wheel. sucks to have to pay 750 plus shipping for 1 wheel!

It is the end of the world! There is no way posible a Volk wheel can bend. This must be a supernatural event.LOL either way hurts me just looking at them and how much it is going to cost to replace/repair them.

ouch that sucks. was it a public transportation bus? did you get a bus number or anything? i would turn that in and get the city to reimburse you for your damage or at the minimum that they hold the driver responsible for running you off the road.

Wow I didn't think it was possible to bend a forged barrel THAT bad.

 

I bet your suspension/ frame are toast judging by the way you bent the wheels. Sorry to see this.

 

i would dare to say that most other wheels might have just shattered or cracked. both of those wheels should be fixable.

 

+1 Thats one of the worse bends I've ever seen. It must have been a huge impact to bend forged like that.

 

of course the bus didnt stop. just kept going. didnt catch any kind of marking on it, no witnesses, i'm sure they won't reimburse i had to get flatbedded home so i couldn't chase after.

it's good to hear that they might be fixable. i will check with those sites. any others? that front one is pretty bad though. luckily the suspension is just fine, nothing bent. it knocked the alignment out pretty bad but i was able to get that taken care of. my front lip is scraped up pretty bad but luckily it just cleared the curb so no front end damage really. i would really really love it if these were fixable!!!
