Default Ordered my KDW2s

The KDW2 are within the price budget and have been ordered.

The problem is the KDW2s are on backorder for the rear pair. 285/35/19s, for 60 days. They have no date, so they say 60 days. The fronts are available, in 255/40/18.

The optional size for the rear was 275/35/19 are available now too. I told him I will just wait for the 285s on the rear. I have tires for now that had tread left.

So now the waiting game......

I have the same tires... people say that they're noisy... but I generally don't mind it. They have some nice grip, I believe I'm running the same sizes in 19" , 255/285.

I heard they aren't noisy either from people who own them.

I got word they are coming in this week...I think I am gonna store them for a little bit to get more wear out of my current ones a bit longer.

If you didn't get them yet see if you can get a refund. They are no doubt the noisiest tires I have ever had. And this includes off road truck tires. They do have great grip and last a long time but the noise is driving me nuts. I can't wait for them to wearout so I can replace them, unfortunately (or fortunately) they still have about half their life yet and I'm past 30k miles on the set. Looks like they will last for 50-60k miles.

Seriously, go and ride in a car with them on the noise in incredible. When you first put them on you won't notice, but wait a thousand miles or so and the noise will start to build.

I have them and love them. The noise doesn't bother me at all and I love how long they last.

Word of advice, I've had to replace two of them (both rear) due to nails in the sidewall and both times they were on backorder. If you can you may want to pick up a spare also.

^ +1 noise isn't bothering me and I've had them for a little over 6k miles. City driving is fine.... highway driving maybe a little noisy, but with some tunes all's good.

They are an okay grip tire for an okay price. Tread life is nice if you take care of them. (balance and rotate correctly.) I have them in 255/40/18 and 295/35/18 and really the only bad things so far is it takes a while for them to warm up to get stickier and they aren't amazing in the rain.

Interesting, everything I have read or heard from people, say they really aren't noisy, and are sticky in the rain. They are pretty much free, so I can't complain.

If they're not directional tires, then he probably meant side-to-side rotation? You can also flip them to rotate them.

these are directional. Almost all of these high performance tires are. It sucks. No rotation.

Oh and kdw's are noisy.
