I need some help picking out tires for 18x9.5

It's not at all. In that pic I was running 275/35 all around. If you are going to track the car it may not be the best setup, but if it's jsut for a little spirited driving you won't notice much difference at all (not to mention you can rotate the tires!).

how does a 295/40 look on a 9.5? is it too bulged

Tire size on the 18x9.5 wheels will really depend on what type of driving you plan to do. I recommend a 245/40/18 or 255/40/18 in front and a 275/40/18 in the rear. The 255 wide tire will fill out the wheel a bit more however not all tires come in a matching 255/40 and 275/40 setup.

but, would a 35 tire be ok/safe, or it just does not look bulged?

You need a 10 to 10.5 for a 295.

i got toyo tr1's 255/40 front, 275/40 rear..try lookin on onlinetires.com..very cheap prices for tires.

get 18x9.5 +30 with 275/35/18 bridgestone potenza re760 sports, 10mm spacer/longer studs in the rear, lower 1", and profit.
