does this make sense
ummm I dont think so... in most cases its the inertia of the wheel and suspension that does the impact to the rim, not the fact that the spring or anything is forcing it into the pothole. its going to go down regaurdless, the fact that it doesnt come back up fast enough is not really the suspensions fault. if anything SUPER stiff shocks so maybe the tires wont fall at all, so they just ride over the pothole.
thatd be a ROUGH ride.
youd also be sacrificing a whole lot of performance for these 19" rims...

ok...i guess i ran out of ideas to protect the rims.....so over the weekend i looked at some tires on some sports cars in my area...35 profile is damn thin..i know everyones been running it and love it but i dont know howlong i will survive with those in NY...
my question is...aside from a huge speedometer throwoff
what other serious problems will i encounter with 245/40/19 and 285/40/19
will it rub on top???
