It can be done with a 5 or 10 mm spacer, but not a 9.5 +30.

This is a 18X9 +30 with a 275 tire. Your wheel will be 6mm closer to the upright. Can't do it without at least a 5mm spacer.

He asked about a 9.5" +30 and no it won't fit.

Istan had +35 on the front of his with 275/35-18 and it fit fine. Tires were Falken 452's. The rim will clear , but the actual tire shape could be a factor.
Jet that pic is a 275/40 up front, you can read the 40 part on the tire.

Yeah I know the size in the pic. I had a 275/30/19 on a 29 and it rubbed on the upright.

sorry to sound really noobish, but what are the benefits of running such a wide diameter in the front (aside from being more flush with the fender)? what would you rears be (305 or more)?

i have 18X9 (+32) in the front and am running 245/40/18. wouldn't the wider tires mess with the VDC/traction control and speedometer?

VDC/TCS problems have to do with tire height not width. The 275/35 and your 245/40 have the same height, so VDC doesn't know the difference. The benifits other than looks, it reduces understeer depending on your rear tire choice/lets you run a wider rear tire without adding more understeer.

All depends on your drop and camber.

Not sure about Jet's case but I'm running 275/30 Pirellis on a 9.5 +30, no rubbing.
If his tires are 275/40 BFG's they are a little wider and about an inch taller than the Pirellis.

Will be close , you may have to add more camber. Probably nothing over -2

So 275/40R18 Falken FK452 on a 9.5" rim with +30 will not clear in the front without at least a 5mm spacer? Correct?
