Default what happens if no tire pressure sensor?

heres the deal..

my tire pressure sensors are falsing..they read low and always beep at me when i start the car.

i have new wheels on the way.

what happens if i mount the new wheels without the sensors?

I dont want the hassel of removing the sensors from the old ones and they arent working right anyways so whats the point.

Will I get errors on the display?

Are the sensors covered under warrenty?

I put a set of Iforged rims on my Z without the sensors...it works fine without them. It just shows - - - - for tire pressure when your gauge cycles.

you sure you have the right tire pressure?

if the alarm is off when you remove the sensors it will keep that last reading and the light will stay on, and the menu will start on tire PSI everytime.

but Ive heard if the tires were ok when the sensors are removed, then you just get the dashes, but no warnings or anything.

what PSI are you running? sure your pressure isnt low? otherwise bring it to nissan and have them reset/replace them or something.

yeah i bought a pressure gauge and tires are right at 35psi, but the gauges read anywhere from 26-34 psi ...this should be under warrenty right? i heard some people say the dealers where trying to charge money for this?

tell them to drive the car, take a reading, then bring it back and let them test the tire pressure manually.

they can see for themselves that its wrong, or that your pressure gauge is wrong and the car is right. either way, itll get corrected.

Yeah sounds like a warranty issue.

Mine have never falsed on me; they always seem to read pretty accurately. Of course I'm still using the stock (touring 18") wheels and tires.
