Question about Alignment
Hey guys...I had a little incident with the median the other day. I hit my rear rim and bend the rear toe bar and the caster. I got them replaced today and put new rims but the tire is stickin out a bit farther than the left rear. I checked the offset and they are the same...
Is that an alignment problem and can be fixed by alignment or is it bigger problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated..Thank you

It is very likely that you bent more pieces than you suspected. I'd suggest taking it to an Alignment shop so they can use a trained eye to look for damage...and so they can see how far out of spec you are.
I've seen everything from subframes shifting to one side, to bent/broken subframes, to knuckles, LCA's...etc...it can be anything at this point.
Take it in, have it checked out and see where it gets ya.
Oops, didn't plainly answer your Question. Its unlikely its a simple alignment issue.
You'd have had better results posting this in the suspension category rather than wheels/tires

Like said above, something else is probably bent. Take it to a shop to find out what.
With that said you still have about 10% chance you just need an alignment, but don't count on it. (your setting could have gotten screwed when the toe link was installed)

not to be nit picky, but when they inspect it they'll likely throw an alignment machine on it to look @ the numbers....so an alignment will be included in your bill I can almost guarantee. (it should be).
also, FWIW any time you replace, alter a suspension component on your car that effects your wheel placement (this includes everything except the sways/endlinks). you should have an alignment afterwards. Toe changes very easily, and Toe eats tires.
