Default Axis and RAYS Agreement.

Ok so maybe i've been out of the loop for a while, and I tried searching but when did Axis partner up with RAYS Engineering ?

http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels.php?id=circuit

Hope this isn't a repost

Just having the Axis name on them means they are crap and will crack if you drive into a strong wind. However, the Rays name means they are made by the hands of God himself, out of the strongest alloy to be found in the multi-verse. This is a paradox like none other. I'm afraid that due to this finding the world will explode and implode simultaneously!

LOl I thought so... But they look pretty good, and choosing your own pinstripe is pretty cool & still 16 lbs. It seems they could not persuede RAYS to offer them in G&Z offsets though...too bad.

LOl they are on to something. The Axis logo can be removed though Imagine all Volks/ Rays in the U.S. were actually Axis. Volk owners heads would explode lol..

Like any other company, if you have excess manufacturing capacity, for a price it can be bought. When you buy a generic product in the grocery store, chances are pretty good it was made by one of the name brand producers. I'd hesitate to call it a "partnership" though.

While Rays may forge them some wheels, in the end, they'll still have the Axis name and Axis will take the credit/blame for the design.

It looks so much like some of the Gram Light wheels made by Rays you would almost think they use the same mold.

Seems like more than just sourcing, considering that the wheels still have the RAYS logo forged in. So Axis taking any credit is kind of pointless.

This is old news, this info was released with the wheels buyer guide at the begining of the year. So now all the name chasers are going to be pissed. But like was posted before, there are hundreds of wheels that are manufactured by Rays and sold under a different label. So more power to Axis wheels for selling a quality product for a cheaper price! Free Enterprise at work.

If its like the ro_ja by rays then they are 100% built by rays and just distributed by axis. To buy a whole line from rays like RoJa did is the only way to distribute rays rims in the US besides mackin industries.
