Just bought some new nismo lmgt4s 18" + new tires nitto 555 245/40/18 front, coopers 275/40/18. After slapping the new tires/rims on i later notice that night while driving a noise coming from my wheels sounding like light light metal scraping (kinda hard to exactly explain the noise). Strange thing is that on certain roads i hear the noise from the wheels but other surface roads, i hear nothing, no problems. I'm lowered on nismo s-tune suspension and did check the wheel wells/fender just to see if theres rubbing but nope aloot of clearance. I went back to the shop to have the guys take a look at it and they couldn't figure out the problem. Anyone have a similar experience/situation like this or maybe might know what it could be???? appreciate it

 

i would think that it may be the tires road noise on certain surfaces just from the tire design. i wouldn't think it would be anything with your suspension if you didnt have the problem until the tires.

Is it freeway where you really hear it??
