Default People with GT-C Volks please help

Hi guys!!

I already posted up this question on G35 driver and didn't get a response, I've been searching for quite a while and can't find definitive answer.

Ok I just bought a set of GTC volks for my G35 coupe. The studs on my car are too short, I was wondering if some one could tell me exactly what size I need and where to buy them? I already have some Muteki lug nuts that will fit perfectly, my only problem are the studs.

So if anyone could please respond on what length studs I need front and back, and if a part number is available that would be awesome.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I bought a used set rims and it came with special lugs that are different from regular one. It has a thinner front end which fits into the hole. I believe your lugs won't work with the Gtc rims.

Do you think you could snap a pic of those lugs? If I can avoid changing studs that would be great.

Thanks!

hmm, how can your lugs be too short? that is what i am trying to understand. and those muteki lugs should be fine since they are not OEM anyway. not sure what the other guy was referring to "special lugs" either since aftermarket lugs shoudl work fine for these wheels. if in doubt, just purchase a set of rays lugs and call it a day.

I'm sure it may cost more, but couldnt any brake/tire shop swap extended studs for your hubs?

Z04: When I place the Muteki lugs on the wheels holes it does not slide in, it's not like OEM rims where the lug nut falls in, the holes on the GTC rims are very small, just barley larger than the OEM studs.

TSG-Z: That was what I was asking in my initial post, what size would be necessary, the OEM studs are 42mm, I think I'm going to go with a 60mm+.

Thanks guys!!

Finally got some info, these use "tuner lugs", they are the only type of lugs taht will work with the GTC volks. I just ordered them and should have more info with pics for you guy next week.

they are not 'tuner lugs' as we know them here, they are special shanked lugs that only work on Volk GT-C and AV3

I dont think fitting was the problem.. the distance from the lug seat to the mounting face is thicker than other wheels. It would be like throwing a 10mm spacer on your current wheels and OEM studs. The shank lug allows engagement of the theads below the lug seat. He'd only get a few turns at most on any regular lug.
