Rim Idea
I was powder coating my plenum and other stuff and I thought that I might do something with my stockers which I use for track.
Most people just get them ALL blacked out and well I'm not a big fan of an ALL black rim, so I wanted to do something different. At first I would of powder coated just the spokes but since they intersect the lip it wouldn't look right, so I came up with this idea. I did a quick mock up and wanted to know what you guys thought before I do anything.... Let me know what you guys think.

^True, but I wanted something different. Which is why it may look weird cause you haven't seen it be done like this. Just like when all black rims 1st came out. Everyone thought they where ugly and now everyone likes them. Either way it was just an idea.
I like it. Looks different. I don't like all black wheels either. Maybe try the colors the other way around (ie, black out the part that you left silver and leave silver the part that you blacked out).

Thanks, someone that see's it in my point of view. There not for show, but for go.... In a matter of speaking.
I wouldn't have powdercoated the stock wheels..
I don't know what kind of heat is used in chrome plating VS the powdercoating baking process but if you see what happend to this guys stockers that were chromed.
Well pics say it all.

Lol... Wow
Well first off I haven't yet done anything to the wheels, there just MASKED up to give me an idea. So, hopefully everyone got that before judging. Plus there's going to be a lot more detail put into the rims when its done.
Ive powder coated lots of rims and had zero issues. Who ever had those done just did a really POOR job.
