SF Challenges 19x8.5F +21 and 19x9.5R +23-- What size spacers? (pics)
Hello all,
I have Volk SF Challenges in 19x8.5F +21 and 19x9.5R +23 with Toyo T1R 245/35F & 275/35R. I was looking to get a wider stance for a nice flush look. I really don't understand this stuff enough to choose spacer sizes so can i get some help before i purchase?
Here are some animations of how i'd like it to sit.
2frames, 2seconds each
2frames, 5seconds each (pic was before Bilstien PSS coilovers)
Thanks in advance for you help.
-Peter

If you wanted to the flush look, you have to take into consideration your drop on ride height... and since you are riding on 19's you really have to watch it due to your rubbers rubbing with the fenders...
For the flush setting you're pretty much trying to put your offsets closer to 0.. such as for the fronts you would measure from the tip of your lip of the wheel and measure with a meter stick and see how far it would be from the tip to the fender. Lets say you were 22mm in distance, then you would consider a 20mm spacer (they come in increments of 5mm, so 5mm, 10mm, etc.) As for the rear I would say a 20mm spacer also unless you don't mind it sticking out, regardless with either way, you would most likely have to have the rear fenders rolled out to avoid rubbing.
Hope this helps.
By the way.. nice clean set up

Yeah go ahead and try to run a 0 offset and you'll regret it. Unless you want the stupid uber camber look.
If you want to run that same setup and be aggressive ie. rolling rear fenders I say go with a 15 mm all around. I run a 10.5" rear with +15 and 295 tire and had to roll mine. That's about as aggressive and practical (performance) wise I would go. The more rubber on the road the better so all those out there running the 0 offset and crazy - camber there ain't much rubber on the road and they are trashing their rear tires.
Sorry Jubes but you should really do some more research before you tell people to run close to 0 offset. It is not the right size for our cars. Granted with a 8.5/9.5 width you can get away with some more offset than a wider setup, but even with my old 8.5/9.5 +20 running a 10mm spacer I would have had to roll my rears with a 275, so IMO a 15mm all around with a rolled rear is going to look pretty damn good.
