Default stock 350z lug nuts on work wheels?

Can i use my stock lug nuts off my 350z for my Work Meisters s1 intill i can get my new lugs? I think they are 60 degree tapers but what size should i get. 12 x 1.25.

Reason that im asking is because i put one on. It chipped all the black around the lug hole. Is this something i should be worried about or will this happen to all lug nuts?

And, why didn't you spend the extra coin for the correct lug nuts?

yes, you will chip all of them since you already chipped one. go with after market lug nuts

If the seat of the nut matches the wheel you are OK.

Functually there is no such thing as a lug nut that is too long. Too short and the inside of the nut may bottom out on the lug. Not good.
