Default Question of taste...(wheel indecision)

Boyfriend wrecked my z: http://www.flickr.com/photos/n_auds/

So now I can't decide if prefer the Enkei LS-5

(18x8 all around)

Or the Zinik Z21 Sofi Black

(19"s, 8.5front, 10 rear)

I loved the idea of a chrome lip for for so long but the idea of going blacked out is pressing hard. So now I can't decide. Any opinions?

(apologies for the huge pictures)

The ruined rims were Enkei, problem is insurance will probably only cover the 2 damages ones and I've been looking for a reason to get rid of all chrome (plus the current wheels are no longer in production.) Either way...trying to make the money stretch. How will the lower quality show? Are they more likely to...crack? Are they just heavier than they should be?

I think you'll have more problems than the wheels by looking at those pictures. The insurance company will more than likely pay you the value of 2 new stock wheels which will be much more than 2 Enkei wheels. You'll probably be able to buy a whole set of Enkei for the price of 2 stock wheels.

What color is your z? I would say go blacked out i think it looks a lot better then a chrome lip. And i would go matte black if you were to go all black but depends on the color of your car

Enkei.

Yes, strength and weight are two of the primary quality factors.

The Enkei's I had were MSRP's by Enkei at $380 (I called) but I'm seeing 03" OEMs at about 220 - so hopefully insurance goes with the aftermarket prices. And yea, I know my rear suspension is definitely damaged as well as my fender.

And I've taken a strange liking to these (my Z is superblack):

Thanks for all the input. Even if you don't like em.
