Differences between wheel studs and spacers...
I am looking to push my wheels out a little further, maybe 10mm all around.
First, I am wondering if the Nismo wheel studs are worth the purchase. I am currently running the 34mm Nismo lug nuts so I am thinking about buying the 50mm studs and lug nuts. I have seen some posts in the road racing section of people that have broken these, so I would like to hear some opinions on their quality.
Second, I helped a friend install H&R spacers on his S14 and they were good quality and came with extended studs. My question is, are those studs strong enough? He hasn't had any problems from his so far, I just want to prevent having to do the job twice.
And the worst question I could come up with... what wheel spacers should I go with if I plan on installing extended studs? I don't want a spacer that uses a different set of studs if that makes any sense. Will the H&R Trak+ meet my needs?
Thanks in advance.
