Nitto INVO Review
I have 3k miles on mine so far and are still going strong. No unusual wear that I have noticed, and handles well with my spirited driving. I haven't tracked my car or driven in much rain, so I can't comment on that. They are great for the price IMO.
3rd to last in the Consumer Reports comparison test, and just above the Nitto 555 (which is possibly the worst so-called performance tire ever). I'll pass on these garbo tires, and I hope most people do. Don't let the marketing hype and a "unique" tread pattern woo you into wasting your money.

Wasn't commenting on the consumer report. You calling them garbage because Consumer Reports said so is ignorant. They are far better than the 555, which I ran on my previous car. I haven't seen a bad review yet, at least from this forum.

I'm a little surprised at the Consumer Reports results also. I've seen nothing but excellent reviews on various forums from users. I'm open, I need tires in a few months, and I'll keep looking...though the Invo is still on my list.
Thanks for the report summary!

The consumer report shows the tire as good/very good in every catagory, they did not say they were a bad tire. I think people are just assuming they are when they see that list because they are at the bottom.
I love my T1-R tires but the Invo has caught my eye. I will be getting a set end of the month. I usually change brands every tire change, so far I have had potenza(sucked) bfg kdw2(awesome tire) toyo t1-r(awesome x2) nitto invo(?coming soon)
coming from a T1-r. i find Invo to be noticeably quieter and comfortable. sidewall's a bit softer but it sticks whenever u want it, just like my previous T1-r.
what i hated about the T1-r is that it used to tram line sooo bad when it got old. too noisy and bumpy also. i've used my invo's at the circuit track already - 2hours of hardworking and i don't notice any change in the tyre's performance and comfort afterwards.
im pretty confused how the t1-r is rated to be more comfortable than the nitto invo. definitely a big ???????????????????? is it because the Invo is new in the industry and that many people have yet to try it? maybe.

My brother has the Kumho spt on his RX8 and they have excellent tread wear. He has had them for 30k miles now and they look like they still have another 15k left. As far as traction I say they are just as good as my factory Bridgestones, but what do i know i never autox or drag that much.
The only thing that questions me is the ride noise. I don't know if it's the fact that his car has 70K+ miles on the odo or if it's just the Kumho's that make more noise than my car. When coming to a stop in his car it makes a loud humming noise, and it feels like the ride is much stiffer compared to mine, but then again i only have 20K miles on my odo..
it could be the tires, or it could be the car's worn suspension.
