Default tire size, will this work?

I have a friend who says he can get me a set of pirelli and a set of bridgestones cheap as heck, but it has to be these 2 sizes, someone ordered the tires and never picked them up, will it look dumb if i run 275/45/19 pirelli, on the back and 245/40/19 bridgestones on the front? will this even work?

Those sidewalls are way too tall. With a 19" wheel, 245/35-19 and 275/35-19 would be the appropriate size that is closet to the OEM overall diameters for front and rear.

Probably your best choice out of all you have mentioned.

nope not really sorry guys just dnt wnt to go to the tire shop and get screwed. Ive been running nittos and thy are lasting a mnth and a half at the most and the rears cost me like $800 dollars last time. I think i found a set tht wil work 275/35/19 and 245/40/19 bridgestone potenzas. I knw you say tht the tallest tire should be 35 but i see a few guys on here runing 40 on the front and 35 on the rear. will this be a good choice? i can get a good deal in these 450 for all 4?

Those should be ok assuming your offsets allow it.

Just got your PM - you're welcome.

I gave you the tool to figure out everything you would ever need to know.

Miata Tire Size Calculator.

you want to compare:

- rolling diameter compared to stock (within 3% difference I believe)
- rolling diameter difference front to rear (you want the rear to be within 2% taller... not shorter)

this is to ensure that VDC and TCS and ABS are not affected.
