Default 245/275 setup vs. 255/285

I have tried to find good pics of these setups (245/35/19 Front and 275/35/19 Rear vs. 255/35/19 front and 285/35/19 rear) on 19x9.5 front and 19x10.5 rear rims. I know these are the 2 most common setups but I want to see comparison pictures of both. Yes, I searched. I can't find any good angles on either setup. If anyone has these tire sizes, please get some pics up!

245/275 if you want a slight stretch for crazy offsets, 255/285 if you want a bit more protection from your sidewalls and dont want/like a slightly stretched look.

Gonna be Volk GTS with +17/18. I'm willing to do a slight stretch if it looks ok. But I think I'm gonna want the 255/285 for more protection. I just need pics to make a final decision.

I would go with 255/285 Although a 20mm staggar is better for handling. If you ask me 265/285 handles very nice.

i have 255/285 on my GTS 17/18. but ive only done this. i WAS going to get the 245/275 but decided on the meater rear.

i was planning on stretching them on my next set, but in order to have a tire stretch a 10.5 wheel, it needs to be like a 255 to look good. but i aint running no wussy 255 on the REAR!

i plan on going with 20x11.5 with a 275 on rear and 20x10 with a 235 upfront.

youll love the 285 out back..

wow, sry110, that looks really nice. Everything fits flush. I still wanna see 245/275. I'm not into the stretched look so if it isn't THAT stretched, I'll like it. I have S-techs b/c the roads here suck and anything lower would kill my exhaust/undercarriage. I'll have no problems fitting either tire. My main concern is that some tires are not available in the 255/285. I need a compromise of tread life and grip. Something around a 300AA. The Toyo T1R comes in 255/285 though and it's like a 280AA iirc. I was looking at the Yokohama S Drives but nobody that I've seen lists the 255/285.

Thanks for the input so far. Pics of 245/275 would be awesome though!

Wow... tough choice here. Thinking the wider setup would be better with the S-techs. Both look good in their own ways. 275 makes the wheel stand out more but the 285 setup fills the fenderwells better. What to do?!?!?!?!? LOL. Thanks for the pics!

Looking at the 285s, should I consider going down to a 30 series? The sidewall looks pretty tall compared to the 275s. Seems like the speedometer would read a bit high. Then again, a 30 is scary small.

Have you considered 265/30/19 fronts and 295/30/19 rears?

265/295 seems like it's going to stick out and wrap the wheel pretty bad. I think I'm sold on the 255/285 at this point.

Stretch is just a cosmetic preference right? not performance? Cuz i dont like how that looks at all, Combined with the fact that your rims will probly get destroyed by rocks.

then you need to have 255's unless you are just on coilovers for the look. I hate m 245 tires. In terms of performance they are nothing compared to 255's.
