Default Work meisters polish lip peeling

What cause the wheel to peel? I notice at the car wash that one of my lips haves a spot were it looks like its peeling off. I didnt know that these wheels had a clear coat on the lip. What is recommended. When i wash them i use regular car soap and i hand wash them.

damn. sorry for your bad experience. i am a previous meister S1 3p owner.
i think your only options are to a) locate a wheel refinisher b) sand and refinish
yourself. one wheel should not cost much more than $100. either way, your wheels
are clear coated, and the refinisher will likely not reclear unless you specify
this - i never recleared my meisters, whose lips i self-sanded and polished
with a mothers product. you can use a metal polish to keep the wheel looking
sharp.

if you search, you should be able to locate a post in which i described my
personal sanding/polishing technique for these wheels... gl
