Default 265/35/18 all round???

Guys im looking at running some fedral 595RS-R's in the 265/35/18 size all round. I have searched and found people that say they have been fine with this size on cars with the VDC and TC systems and others who say it has effected the VDC system??

The cars run on the street and the track. I understand that the rears are 5.1% under sized from the stock 245/45 but i can live with the speedo error.

Any ideas guys??

Thanks.

I've read you need to stay within 3%

True. So spend $800 for tires and see what happens.

vdc is a joke anyways, and why would you be worried about it when you go to the track?

pull the fuse and call it a day. what are your wheel sizes/offsets?

Maybe the 99% of the time when he's NOT at the track?

I am running 245's all around. Not really having any problems with the VDC, they are snow tires. The only problem I have is if I go around corners too fast, but again these are snow tires. So in my experience it will work. With my R-compounds I just turn it off, which are also 245's all around

I plan on going this size too. Please post some pics/info when you get them.

Oh and to hraselgvs post, you only have to stay within 3% fr/rr. If he's running same size all around he should be ok....I think.

square setups and VDC don't play very nicely together when pushed hard. For normal street driving, works fine.

So you mean for street driving the VDC will be ok. (eg not cutting in and flashing round bends. ect.) When pushing hard with the VDC ON what do you mean it will not play nice?? Cut in early?

Also i run the TC and VDC off at the track so that is not a problem.

Thanks for the help guys.

Ps my wheels are 9.5 18 et30 all round.
