Default TIRE BLEW OUT! Need new tires! Help pls

Hey everyone! Well today, one of my Falken Azensis RT615 rear tires blew out, so I need to get some new tires so I'm looking for some help on my choice. These Falkens are 315/30/18 in the rear. So here are my choices.

edit: It seems that what caused the tire to blow out was that the inside was rubbing up on the strut or whatever that has the plastic cover on it, but I won't know for sure until I go back to Arizona. Should this cause me to go with the 295 width so I dont rub on that strut or whatever it is? Thanks again guys.

Falken Azensis RT615 315/30/18

or does anyone know a tire that is 315/35/18? I cant seem to find one. Anyway, if you guys could help me with my choice, or give any good recommendations besides these, it would be greatly appreciated.

I was kind of wondering if anyone was running a 295/40/18... I know it's a tall tire but I was also looking to falken for a tire setup. I've seen plenty of 275/40's and one 285/40. I don't know if you'd want to run that big of a tire in the rear though.

If the strut rubs and destroys the tire no big deal. At least it looks cool.

discounttires.com has better choices, but I still just want some opinions from people who have these tires or can recommend anything. I'm really leaning toward the 295/35 BFG KDW.

Alright guys, I've decided not to go with 315's, but can you guys tell me what would work better on my car on stock suspension.

BFG KDW II 295/35/18 or BFG KDW II 285/40/18? Which one is closer to the stock height so my speedo won't be off? Thanks for any help

The 285 is a little closer but slightly larger in diameter. The 295 is a little smaller than stock diameter.

Where'd you get that info? and how would a 285/35 be? I have the 17 in enthusiast rims stock but I have 18x11 now in the rear and still want that fat tire, just not 315 anymore.

Not sure of your offset, but if you destroyed a tire simply by rubbing the plastic on the housing, you could maybe still considr the 315-sized tire with a baby spacer (like 3mm) to keep it off the plastic. With an 11" wheel, you want something 295+ in size for sure.
