I don't have pics cuz I'm a total tool, but I'm getting my wheels repaired and painted and not sure what type of black to paint them.

Not sure if the high gloss will be too shiny for my subdued silverstone, but don't know what the semi gloss/matte will look like.

I ask because I have a V2 front and I'm going to paint the grill area black

AND a tourenn rear that has a diffuser area that I'm going to paint black too.

All will be painted the same black.

Weigh in please. Comments welcome.

body kit with stock wheels ftl. i say save your time and money and save up for aftermarket black wheels. whatever black you choose make sure it's similar to the color you paint the black portions of your kit.

 

^I think the V2 front is close enough to stock that you can run stock wheels with it and look good.

I vote matte black.

 

That's what I'm thinking. The stocks black don't look bad. I can get the wheels repaired and painted for under 400, so it's not that big of a hit.

I'm still interested in getting the Rota G force w/ red lip. Don't really need a name and they seem of decent quality and the look i'm going for.

 

gloss black..i have work meister's gloss black. Its better than matte black. But then again its your choice you cant go wrong with either one.

 

I never liked gloss black..every other black guy has it and it looks like cheap garbage..

You see where this thread is going... Just go with what you like the best, you have to look at it and drive it everyday. IMO though, gloss black FTW.
