I bought """""lesser"""""" wheels. I'm perfectly happy with my Rota's.
If you are on a budget, and you wanna compete now rather than later, you'll find much more bang for your buck with "cheaper" wheels (assuming their are still quaility, lighter, and wider than stock). There are more places to spend your money and see much better results. i.e. an outstanding set of tires, suspension, etc.
Nothing makes me happier than handing fancy wheel guy, JDM guy, and big budget stoplight show-off guy his a$$ on the track or AutoX. You'd be amazed how often that happens and I'll be the first to say that I have a lot of driving skill to learn still.
If you care about show more than go or just have a large budget to do anything you want then go get the Work's. They are "better".
