Need advice on the axis shine 20in
Hey guys I think i narrowed my rim search down to the axis shine. I'm looking at them in the 20in application. Does anyone on here have any insight on these rims? Fitting wise or how they look? Is 20in too big for our fender wells? I know they also come in a 19in applicAtion but Im just not sure which way to go. Please if you have any insight, I'd greatly appreciate it.

It won't look horrible but of course it won't look great. You will have a nice fender gap. Getting a bigger wheel doesn't fill up more room. Usually if the rim is bigger the tires are thinnner. So, really a 19inch wheel and a 20inch wheels are pretty close in diameter if you are also measuring the thickness of the tire. Of course the hellaflush crowd doesn't count because their tires are super thin.

putting on an after market 20 inch rim will often actually raise the car, just due to the overall diameter of the wheel. so if you get the overall diameter of your wheel with tire and them subtract that from the hight of the new wheel/tire combo, that is how much it will go up. and Marques1 is right in that you will still have some wheel gap, not a ton if you get the correct offsets, but it will still be there. But no, it would not look bad, it'll be fine, just don't let the "hellaflush" butt bunch give you advice.

Stock front tire 225/45-18 is how tall ? 245/30-20 tire is how tall?
Stock front 245/45-18 is how tall ? 275/30-20 tire is how tall?
OkashiZ please answer these questions and tell me how the 20 inch wheel (that sits inside the tire ) is going to lift the car. Then don't post unless yoru asking questions.

Not to thread hijack but I'm also looking at AXIS Shines (19's for me) on a 350Z
Are there any clearance issues with brembo's???
Also from what I've read on Zstore, the front is heavier than the rears. Anyone found these wheels to affect handling much?
Lastly, to avoid gaurd rubbing, what's the best tyre sizes for a stock ride height 350Z on 19's.
19x 8.5 on +15 Front
19x 9.5 on +20 Rears (the Zstore kit)
They still seem like the BEST bang for buck wheel around imho. They look awesome and are so cheap compared to the likes of Volks etc

Don't know if they clear Brembo's, but standard fitment of 245/35-19 front and 275/35-19 rear would be your tires size.
