Default offset Gods please help me....

it has come down to Volks GT-S Phantom Edition with the red lip and the specs are the following:

19x9.5 +4
19x10.5 +8

I'm lowered on Stance Coils. I wanna know if i can pull off this set up without having to do "streched tires and too much neg camber"? I would like my rear tires to have meat on them but not too much meat, so having said this what do you guys think? BTW I have a 6 piston front and 4 pistor rear rotora bbk.

Use a offset calculator to compare your current wheels to the new wheels. With the new dimensions, check ... oh hell never mind.

Im running that width with +10 in the rear, and a 275/40 (yes i'm on 18's) but they are very close in specs. Another 5mm shouldn't be a problem. You will need a roll and -2 rear camber.

Front , well i'm only at +17 with a 255 and rub with 1.5 camber.

19x9.5 +4
19x10.5 +8

You will be better off with tire size
245/35/19 and 275/35/19
the front will not be stretch too much, and same with rear.
if you want to get traction, just get better tires and stretch.
My brother used to have Vortech widebody z with 325 rear tires, and it was still lossing traction, and I have regular z with bolt ons, have 275 T1R, and I dont loss traction as much as my brother's Z.

I hope this help.

Your wheel spec is "not-so-aggressize" setup.

thank you all for your input. I was thinking of the Toyo r888's. I know these are more expensive tires but would these help me any better?

hmmm.. this was the same exact setup besides color of rim that I was thinking of running. how bad is a -2 camber? what exactly is the stock setup? I want an aggressive stance but not way too much camber to where I only end up with 7k out of my tires. it was either +8 or -2 for the rear though. I would be running a small stretch also.

No way those rears will work without rubbing some fender modification. I've proven it. Plus, a 275 looks, in my opinion, slightly stretched on a 10.5" wheel. Get a little more offset, like +18 or so for a flush look, and run a 285 minimum to avoid that look you said you don't like.

Would elaborate on exactly what tire sizes you plan to run so the OP can determine if he thinks that'll be the stretch look he is trying to avoid? A +8, let alone a -2, 19x10.5" wheel will need something "out of the norm" to work (i.e. fender rolling/pull, 245-sized tire, etc.)

Negative camber, stretched tire, fender roll/pull and you will be good. You may run into clearance issue's with your BBK on the rear wheel though.

I would run a 235 and 265 probably. I did say stretch. I'm already fully aware of having to roll and fix camber. I just don't want to have to do wayyy too much camber.

As for OP, what Scott is saying wouldn't necessarily be true about a 275 being stretch depending on what brand and tall of sidewalls you run. You really need to read up about how sizing runs with different tire brands.

-2 is within oem specs for the rear , 30k on my last set of tires. Run -2 front with -2 rear , 275/35 and 255/35 with a roll. Your all set.

19x9.5 +4
19x10.5 +8

The combination of your width and offset limits your tire sizes. Even with more negative camber and a fender roll, you're still looking at some form of a stretched look on your tires. You're not going to stuff anything more than a 275/35 in the rear with that setup.

thank you guys for the input; this is giving me a better picture. These wheels also come on the standard offsets which are:

19x9.5 +17
19x10.5 +18

I just dont think those offsets are aggressive enough for me. I wish they were lower, you know 12+?
