I need wide 18" wheels for my Z
#1
Wheel question
Ok so my friends and I all got free sets of slicks @ the Rolex 24.
The size is 305 660 18
From what I know 660=35 profile
So... what size/offset wheel would be ideal to run 18" 305's in the rear?
I'm looking for a relatively cheap pair or set of wheels.
I don't care if they're "zo6" wheels or whatever...

Also, keep in mind a racing tire @ 305 is probably wider than a 305 street tire. Hoosier R6s in a 305 is 315 in comparison. With Pirelli Grand Am tire maybe even wider.
18 x 10.0-11.00 +20 with -2.5 toe might get close to tucking it in. Or, just run it wide with the coilovers set higher to reduce rubbing.

Why do you say its wider? 305 is a measurement in milimeters. If both are 305, they should be equally wide. No?

I'd hate for someone to buy wheels just for a set of tires they got for free. Keep in mind that it's much easier and cheaper to get new tires than wheels! Buy your wheels in sizes/ offsets that you need and then select tires that fit.
What you can/ should do is sell the tires and then use that money to buy a set that you know you'll use.
Good luck.

Enkei NTO3's , they come in 18x10.5 with +30 , that will be what you need to fit them.
