Default WTF - Nismo 18's 'nismo' sticker coming off??

Damnit. I've got the 18in nismo rims and it turns out that thing that says nismo on it is just a freaking STICKER? I noticed my drive rear rim this morning is flacking - that sticker is coming off. WTF?? Why the hell would that be a STICKER? Is there anything I can do because this looks like crap.

I know you can buy them if you wanted to keep them for cheap. But yea all I use is a sponge, soap and water. My car is even tracked so it gets the wheels really hot at the track too. Hmm.

Dude, its $5 for a replacement. Don't worry about it.

In the future, keep away from the vinyl when you're washing/drying the wheels and they won't fall off.

Got them in stock. Stay away from pressure washes to avoid this problem.

stickers do come off...
i started a whole thread on why Rays (and other expensive wheel manufacturer's) use stickers.

if you're that concerned, like I am, just buy wheels that are engraved or void of cheap adhesives next time

X2. I bet that is why his are coming off and mine are not. My car has never seen a high pressure wash, always hand washed.

Another way to go is just to peel them off all of the wheels.

I take mine to the touchless car wash in the winter and get the "hub scrub" package and they are still doing fine *Knocks on wood*

I think when mine do start to peel off, I'll just take them all off.

Ah ha! That's exactly what it is. Guess I'll order new stickers.

(I got the car a week ago and already been hit, so I was pissed to see the rims messed up too!)

I use high pressure rinse and soap and then hand 'scrub' it. I actually remember looking at the nismo part on the rim thinking it WAS engraved and being all impressed

A car never lies as much as the owner wants to. We have them in stock so you can always come by to pick them up as well!

I need some as well. Mine lasted about a year, but I knew it'd happen at some point.

Yea, I did. Ordered them from Performance Nissan. Cleaned the wheel each time. They just won't stick *Shrug*... they won't even stick to anything as a matter of fact.. plastic/metal/my fridge.. nothing. I also can't even peel them off with my fingers.
