Default Tire size question

I am currently running 20 inch volk racing GT-C wheels. My tire measurements are 275/30/20 and 245/35/20. I found cheaper tires that have different aspect ratio's which is the middle number. My question is what aspect ratio would fit on my wheels? Like can I run 40's or 45 on them? I know that aspect ratio is basically the percentage height of the width just I'm not too educated on tire fitments. Anyone know what I can run? I don't wanna really change the width it seems like a good fitment. No rubbing

40/45's aren't bad IIRC stock tire height is 40's at least on my track wheels they were. The 30/35 setup should be perfect with your GTC's. but again it's all personal preference. Do you autoX or TA your car much? or is it basically a DD? Why would you change your tires anyways? Are they worn out? if so I don't think you'll have a problem with 40/45's but it might look a little different.

I don't track my car at all. It is my DD. And the inside of the front tire the whole outer section came off and it is showing metal and the rears are shot as well. It would look different though? How so?

Actually I was looking online at the prices and its not that big of a difference so I think I am going to stay with the same size.

Since you have 20's... you can't get a taller tire.

Run whatever series you want but maintain the OEM tire height: http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/tirecalc.html
