Received 5x112 Wheels!!
So I ordered a staggered set of G-Games 99b silver wheels on ebay and the front wheels are 5x112 lug pattern. The seller said he would take them back but could not replace them with 5x114. I really want to keep them but not sure what to do. I already have tires mounted and balanced on them. Should I get a set of adapters? The offset is +35 and they are 8.5" wide with 255 tires. Not sure how thick of an adapter would be okay. The wheels won't fit over the hub. I am so dissappointed as I really like these wheels. Any suggestions?
Found these but they are 1.25" thick, http://www.ezaccessory.com/Wheel_Ada.../5450-5112.htm. That would put me at about +3 offset which seems pretty low though.

So if I use an adapter that moves me out to a +3 to +5 offset on a 8.5" wide wheel any thoughts on how they will match up with the fenders? I have 10.5" wide wheels on back with +22 offset. They stick out a few mm but I am running 305 tires.
No one may care but just in case someone does a search and wants to know the outcome. I used the adapers and they seem to work pretty well. It is a really wide stance but I like the look. The fronts match the rears know. I see no reason to shy away from wheel adapters if you have a DD. Now for racing I am not sure.
I was trying to formulate an informative, helpful post but have failed. All I could find to help is this chart...
IIRC -- factory 18x8 wheels are +30 offset and is recommended to have a max. front spacer of 25mm bringing the offset to +5 for an 8" wide wheel. -6MM offset for every 1/2 wider wheel.
