These look really good, even if he ends up changing the look - everything
can always be stripped and redone. I agree with val... unless you are having
the wheels reassembled by a highly skilled wheel tech, you could have any
number of seal issues. The construction of work meister 3piece wheels happen
to be relatively complex. The metal is very soft, and the polymer type used to
create an airtight application is unknown to anyone I know. I don't believe I
have ever seen exact torque specs, nor a tool/chuck proper for dissassembly
(as the head of the bolts are relatively unique)...
I think for a first time out you did a sick job. Has anyone else ever even considered
painting Meisters? (other than work of course)

I think it looks great. Maybe would have looked a little better if you took them apart but i still think they look great. With a better camera or in person they would look better as well because the lip would actually be shiny. In the pics its hard to see good.
My advice paint calipers black or silver, red just makes it look ehhh.
New lugs for sure
decal on the spoke looks great though man props for being unique.

I did the same thing 2 weeks ago with my volk SF challenges. Didn't paint the rivets, but other than that all black. I was told to stay away from a matte/flat black, because chipping and wear would show easier on wheels, simply because there was not a protective layer (clear) for them. Ive had the wheels for almost 5 years, and they were starting to show some wear, so I decided to do something different as well. Will post pics this weekend....

Thanks L and get zwole. and thanks guys. what i was really going for was mentioned. I love the black on black look but i also was aiming for something unique. If something were to ever happen to my wheels i can always go back to my guy and he will fix it for me thats all or even change the look again you never know. And yea in person they look great. I installed my black lugs and waiting for my spoke decals to come in to finish the wheel.
Any ideas on how to paint calipers myself?? But i mean a good job on them not the way it looks now. Or should i have a body shop do that as well??

^There are tons o' threads on here for you to search on painting calipers. Do your basics, cleaning, sanding, cleaning, painting, sanding and clear coating and you will be ok. I would suggest to use the brush on paint from Dupli-Color.

OP: sorry for cluttering your thread with responses to this douche bag. You should have a mod delete his posts, since he's obviously just an asshat who needs attention.
Lets see some pics with a better camera!!

Yeah it would be a fair exchange. Only difference is you're just being a ***gy newb troll who gets some type of enjoyment from being a little ***** on the internet. Your mom didn't hug you when you were little? Your dick that small? Your boyfriend too rough with you?
hey, look at this guy's other posts...

There aint nothing cheap going on this car lol besides that single exhaust that i bought it with
I think the thought was there and this could look very good, but you my friend failed in all aspects of pulling this look of, not to mention spraying 3500$ wheels just masking them up.
You wanna pull this look off look up Robzone on g35driver, he pulls this off perfect.
You need:
-Repainted the Right way
-A way more aggressive setup than the average Meister specs
-you need to be way lower!
you failed in all 3!!!

IMO I love the work meisters but you killed it. You had a good idea but poorly accomplished.
Should have taken them completely apart and got them painted by a professional paint shop that knows wtf they are doing. I would have gone matt black lip, barrel, valve stem and gloss spokes. You wheels look like you just spray painted them.
