Default Need advice

Im planning on making my car look alittle more aggressive while still using the factory 07 rim for now, so I was thinking of 2 option.

1. I was gonna upgrade to wider tires, 245/40 front 265/40 rear.

2. Or go with 25mm spacers all around.

So my question is which would be the most safe and reliable option? Also how long do spacers last?

Thanks

Get the spacers. This will flush your rims to your fenders. Unless you do hardcore auto crossing, these things will last forever.

I wouldn't advise running too wide of a tire for your wheel.

The 25mm spacers I think will require you to install longer wheel studs, but should work out fine after you get extended studs.

20mm front with a 245/40 and stock rear tire with 25mm spacer would be my suggestion.

Default spacers

Why do I need extended studs? I was planning on getting the ichiba version II spacers. The studs that come with those spacers should be long enough right? So I guess spacers are more reliable than wider tires?

thanks

If you want wider tires I recommend wider wheels.
