Default Tire sizes on stock 03 Touring 17's

I need new tires and I had a few questions. I searched and only found some of the things I was looking for.

Can I go wider than the stock 225 front and 235 rear on the 17in touring wheels? If so what would be better?

235/45-17 front and 245/45-17 rear
or
235/50-17 front and 245/50-17 rear (or is a 50 profile to tall?)

Could I also have the just one tire size all around the car instead of staggered?

The ones I just took off my 05 were 225/50/17 and 235/50/17.

These tires and wheels are for sale by the way. 18K on the tires, good tread left. $500 takes everything. PM me if interested.

If you want wider tires get wider wheels. Which would be better? Better tires.

I bought it used and that's what was on it. What was stock?

I now have 18" 2007 Track Wheels.

If you have an anniv edition, it was delivered new to the dealer lot with these wheels that I bought from an 06' for my wife's vert:

That's what's on it now!

I guess the original owner took the good rims and put the Enthusiast rims on it when he sold/traded.

that's the point. if you bought a 35th, used or not, you should have got all that a 35th is supposed to have. especially if it was advertised as being a 35th.

but yeah, it was supposed to have the 18" wheels on it like in the picture, but those are not the 2007 track wheels either since there was no 2007 track model and the wheels came in 18" front/19" rear with three dots on the spokes made by rays (the NISMO model wheels are basically the same except for darker color, NISMO stickers and straight lines instead of dots)
