Default painted milanos

Well after the local tire shop dinged up my wheels trying to get new invos on, they treated me right and had them sanded and resprayed so i choose to switch it up and throw a gunmetal color on. Heres a before and after pic, what do you guys think....

From one Milano owner to another, that looks killer! I'm glad somebody finally pulled it off, I've been thinking about doing mine for years.

Do you still have the factory clear coat finish on the lips?

yes they are clearcoated, i used the powerball and used a fine compound, then polish, wax. I wish they weren' t though i think we could get more bling out of it with a polished lip with no clear on it

My clear started to peel (previous owner) so I used Aircraft stripper to remove the clear off the lips only. I wetsanded, then polished and didn't get the bling I was looking for but at least it doesn't have the imperfections it did before. If there's nothing wrong with the clear then I wouldn't bother...it was a lot of work.

^I think I like the before better. That gunmetal is a bit off color with Redline. Not really dark nor light. I think it would look way better with the tail tint off.
no offense, just my opinion.
