Default Hankook RS3! 1st One in the Country

Yes you read that correctly. Gruppe-S will be the 1st ones in the US with these types.

The Ventus R-S3 is new extreme Performance Summer tire developed for the

extreme dry grip with the proven Hankook's racing tread compound.

Keep a watch out as Gruppe-S will be campaining this tire thruout the 2009 Formula Drift season.

What is pricing like, is it stupid like a few companies or reasonable like the 615's used to be.

Can you tell us how wide a 285/35/18 is in perspective to other 285/35/18's made by other brands. It's so hard to buy tires and be flush/etc with the large variances...such as Nitto's run super skinny....(at least they used to) and BFG's run super fat...and still do.

Thanks.

Best bet would be to check out Hankook usa's website, and look at the tires specs to be positive on the comparison.

Thank you

is this the new version of the RS-2? since they discontinued those tires. How gripy are they compared to the z1 star specs?

No comparison tests yet, but this tire is supposed to compete with the RE01R so it should be really good.

Thank you

Thanks sasquatch! I saw your tires get mounted and balanced already, we should have a tracking # for you by this afternoon.

First off a bump to the top and thanks Gruppe-S for the great set-up.
Completely awsome tire. Just put them on and did a quick shake down of them.
These tires hug the road like no other and can't wait to auto cross and track them soon.
the flame imprints are true to the tires nature as these things are on fire and just love to throw smoke.
